Ultimate Performance is one of the best gyms that I have experienced. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by smiling, friendly faces and made to feel welcome. I was well out of shape when I signed up and not once did I feel self conscious nor nervous about what I was about to do.
All the machines are well spaced out and new. Everything is clean, changing/ shower rooms are spacious, and towels are provided. All their trainers are well qualified and work hard to train people for their specific needs. The trainers dictate your workout and your diet, and if you follow their advice you will witness the transformation results first hand.
My trainer, Davy, has worked tirelessly to help me, and after 4 months of hard slog, I feel stronger, healthier, more alert and more alive than I have done in nearly 30 years (I am 48). Brilliant!
I have worked out on and off for many years but in general I haven’t particularly enjoyed going to the gym. That being said, working out at Ultimate Performance (UP) with Paolo has made the experience that much more enjoyable.
In corroboration, we set realistic goals both in terms of outcomes and timelines and with Paolo’s positive encouragement and guidance we are well along the way. Paolo’s can-do attitude is extremely professional and based on knowledge. Additionally, it creates a level of confidence in his instructions in the gym as well as his recommendations in meal planning as well as lifestyle choices.
Certainly I am enjoying the experience and highly recommend UP/Paolo to those clients who need a solid, consistent mentor at the gym.
I've been training with Jacky for a little over a month now and honestly I think he's the best one I've had. He's always making sure you're pushing yourself a little harder each session and definitely knows your limits. Sometimes you think you want to quit but Jacky always keeps you going and motivated. I always love going to UP not only for my trainer but all the staff as well. Everyone is really friendly and the reception makes some mean shakes.
Not exaggerating but I was able to gain more within 3 months at UP than training on my own in the past couple of years. My trainer, Joseph Ngan, is excellent. Best trainer I've had, and trust me, I've trained with quite a number in the past. I'm now training with less weights but with the right technique and emphasis on muscle mind connection, my muscle responded far better. Highly recommended. I'd say the training I've had here is far better than other gym joints.
Way more than a gym! An encouraging friendly environment where no question is too stupid for those who haven't done fitness before. PT sessions only so it's never too full, and they push you just the right amount. Tom, my trainer, has been super encouraging on diet control and is always at the end of a Whatapp for any advice. Often with a "witty" retort...
I have been traveling a lot, so my dieting and exercise have not been as controlled as some who do the 12 week challenge, but the results are seriously noticeable.
It's not cheap, but it works. Recommended.
